At basto, we transform industrial excess into one of a kind, sustainable luxury fashion. every piece is uniquely crafted with commitment to quality and environmental consciousness. we produce unisex clothing in small batches (mostly one unit per design, making it intentionally rare)
made with intention

all our products are designed, cut, sewn, pressed, packed and shipped from our studio in madh island, mumbai. with sustainability at the core, all our pieces are designed with the purpose of lasting. we fuse, bind, hand-stitch, and line wherever necessary to ensure the finished product is durable and wearable for many years to come, aging with us over time. select pieces are naturally dyed using plant-based dyes, leaving subtle variations that make each garment one of a kind. Each Basto garment includes a plantable tag embedded with a seed.

I began basto with a simple mission, to transform excess and upcycled materials into pieces that feel truly special. Every design is crafted as a single/limited edition, one piece made for one person. It’s luxury with intention: individual, handcrafted, planet-conscious, and still accessible. For me, true luxury is knowing your piece is uniquely yours and kinder to the world we share.
