I began Basto with a simple mission: to transform excess and upcycled materials into pieces that feel truly special. Every design is crafted as a single/limited edition—one piece made for one person. It’s luxury with intention: individual, handcrafted, planet-conscious, and still accessible. For me, true luxury is knowing your piece is uniquely yours and kinder to the world we share.

Process – All our products are designed, cut, sewn, pressed, packed and shipped from our studio in Madh Island, Mumbai. With sustainability at the core, all our pieces are designed with the purpose of lasting. We fuse, bind, hand stitch and line whatever is necessary to ensure the finished product is durable and wearable for many years to come as it ages with us.
